Luke 8, has been operating since 1992. In fulfilment of the scriptures in the book of Luke, the scriptures indicate women supported Jesus financially out of their own resources. (Luke 8:1-4 NIV)

"Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing glad tidings of the Kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities - Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance".

This kind of support helped Jesus further His work in the Kingdom of God. In the same way, women of today can help the Founder Dr Neil Thomas, and his vision of reaching out to those in need.

VISION Our Vision is to establish LUKE 8 in every country around the world.

1. The main vision of Luke 8 is to encourage women to contribute and support the Gospel of Jesus Christ's love across the world.

2. To fulfill the Founders vision through contributions given by the Luke 8 members that will go towards Broadcasting, educating, clothing by providing for orphans, windows and school children in many developing nations ( click onto the MISSIONS site of this webpage ).

Aim of Local Chapters

1. To invite women to become members and be a part of Luke 8.

2. To encourage members to have a vision to help others.

3. To contribute financially to the Founders vision and expenses, through Worldwide Broadcasting via quality family Radio and T.V.

4. To encourage women to attend the monthly fundraising dinners.

A GOLD CLUB MEMBER A Gold Club Member is someone who attends a monthly Fundraiser and pays the monthly fee set by the National Luke 8 Committee.

A Gold Club Member agrees to contribute a monthly fee which is set by the National Committee. Where there are a number of members in any one city or area, they will be encouraged to meet with other members for a monthly Fundraiser at a restaurant where the monthly fee will be included in with the meal costs or village dinner. For Village undraisers members must bring pre-cooked food as allocated by the Secrectary/Treasurer and members attending must pay a small fee as mentioned on page 13 of the manual (refer to right hand column) under "Fundraising Functions".

A Gold Club member is entitled to attend retreats and travel with the Founder Dr. Neil Thomas or his representative to Luke 8 functions at their own expense.
