If you are anxious or stressed, you can be helped by learning some simple skills such as deep breathing, relaxation and mediation and discover that God our Father, through His Holy Spirit, is our Comforter, Guide and Counsellor.

Calm Profile: My Story by Dorothy Edwards-Thomas Founder of CALM Support Groups International.
After some personal traumatic events late in 1988, I started experiencing odd sensations and strange feelings.
I did not understand what was happening. I felt very agitated some days and at other times sad or depressed.
Self confidence rapidly oozed away, and I went to five different doctors, before being diagnosed as having "anxiety illness".
From that black hole of despair, through the power of God’s Holy Spirit I went on my own journey towards health and peace. I particularly found relief through deep breathing exercises, relaxation and Christian mediation.
I began to share my story, and some of my friends told me that they often felt the way I had felt, so we decided to meet as a group and give each other help and support. CALM Support Groups International commenced in August 1998. Since then, many women have been helped through small groups, day seminars, one on one Christian counseling, and listening to CDs.
